Company and CEO Richard Addi Named Cornerstone Honorees by SmartCEO Magazine
HERNDON, VA, June 2, 2016 – Exostar, whose cloud-based solutions help companies in aerospace and defense, life sciences, and healthcare mitigate risk and solve their identity and access challenges, today announced it has been named a Cornerstone Award Honoree by SmartCEO Magazine. The Awards recognize businesses and their top executives for making a meaningful and lasting impact on their local communities.
Exostar and its CEO, Richard Addi, were cited for the positive influences they have had in Herndon, Fairfax County, and the Washington, DC region; successful community-based partnerships; long-standing community commitment; and philanthropy. Over the past fifteen years, including the last five under Addi’s leadership, the company has maintained headquarters in Herndon as it has grown to nearly 200 employees who will occupy a new 30,000 square-foot facility this fall. SmartCEO highlighted Exostar’s increased emphasis on corporate social responsibility, including food drives, support for youth athletics, Toys for Tots, and providing backpacks and school supplies to local children in need.
