Chief Revenue Officer

As Exostar’s® Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Derrick Reig oversees all activities related to the customer journey, from awareness and acquisition to fulfillment and retention. To do so, he leads the company’s Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success functions, implementing go-to-market and revenue generation strategies that create client value.

Derrick brings over 25 years of relevant experience at publicly traded and private businesses to this role. Throughout his career, he has worked for some of the world’s most ubiquitous global software and business intelligence firms, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction by enabling clients to achieve their corporate and professional objectives through modern, disruptive technology solutions built organically and through acquisitions. These opportunities have allowed him to develop expertise in cloud and Software-as-a-Service architectures and delivery models, digital transformation and technology innovation initiatives, customer experience management, and business analytics and intelligence, along with vertical market depth in industries including life sciences, healthcare, and financial services.

Prior to joining Exostar® in June 2024, Derrick served as CRO at CB Insights, a leading technology market intelligence platform. There he led the Sales Development, Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success teams, helping the company become the most trusted technology marketplace for buyers, sellers, investors, and advisors within the innovation economy. Previously, Derrick held executive level positions at Sprinklr, Zuora, Oracle, and Endeca, as well as Manager and Account Executive roles at IBM, Cognos, and MicroStrategy.

Derrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Virginia.
