Exostar to Present at Shared Investigator Platform User Forum at SCOPE 2019

Attendees Will Learn How Clinical Trials Constituents Can Access All of Their Studies with a Single Credential

Herndon, VA, February 14, 2019Exostar, the leader in trusted, secure business collaboration in aerospace and defense, life sciences, and healthcare, today announced it will speak at the Shared Investigator Platform (SIP) User Forum, a workshop that describes the current and future capabilities available to sponsors, investigators, and other clinical trials participants.  The event, organized by Cognizant Life Sciences and featuring speakers from Amgen, Eli Lilly, Merck, Pfizer, and Roche, takes place on February 18th at the Summit for Clinical Ops Executives (SCOPE) 2019 in Orlando.

In his presentation, “Single Sign-On and the Partner Ecosystem,” Kenny Kong, Exostar’s Director of Life Sciences & Health IT, will explain how individuals can leverage a single identity credential to safely, securely, and speedily access all relevant clinical trials studies – both within and across pharmaceutical sponsors – via SIP.  Investigators and clinical trials personnel from sponsors, academia, CROs, and other organizations no longer must bear the burden of maintaining as many as 50 or more unique credentials to perform their daily clinical trials tasks.

“Strong identity management is the engine that drives SIP.  A single credential, or passport, paves the way for improved investigator productivity, while compliantly protecting sensitive information and intellectual property,” Kong said.  “As SIP availability continues to rapidly expand, the use of a trusted credential that enables single sign-on delivers the immediate benefit of greater life sciences industry collaboration across clinical trials.”
