Exostar Extends International Presence to Asia with New Partnership

EvaAviation to resell Exostar’s secure collaboration solutions in Japan.

HERNDON, VA, September 7, 2016 – Exostar, whose cloud-based solutions help companies in aerospace and defense, life sciences, and healthcare mitigate risk and solve their identity and access challenges, today announced a relationship that will make it easier for businesses in Asia to engage with the company.  Japanese consulting services and IT solutions firm EvaAviation is now an authorized reseller of Exostar’s secure, multi-tenant enterprise collaboration solutions.

“Companies in Japan, including Fujitsu and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, are using our solutions today to meet their internal and external collaboration requirements,” said Tim Zullo, Exostar’s Senior Director of Sales and Marketing.  “By teaming with a locally-based business that specializes in the highly-regulated aerospace and defense vertical, we will more effectively be able to demonstrate the value that these intuitive, scalable, high-performance solutions can bring to organizations of all sizes and IT maturities.”

EvaAviation, a spinoff of Fujitsu, Ltd., has a deep understanding of the Japanese aerospace, aviation, and defense industries, borne from extensive experience working for and supporting organizations in these markets.  It specializes in the assessment, integration, and delivery of innovative, cloud-based services that allow customers to collaborate securely on endeavors ranging from supply chain management and logistics analysis to training and maintenance, repair, and operations.

“Japanese aerospace and defense firms are increasingly concerned about protecting their intellectual property and sensitive data from compromise in the wake of device proliferation and highly-collaborative business models,” said Yasuyuki Kuno, EvaAviation’s CEO.  “After evaluating our alternatives, we have chosen to partner with Exostar because their enterprise collaboration solutions best combine security, functionality, and an industry track record of proven success.”

Exostar’s enterprise collaboration solutions are used by aerospace and defense companies and their suppliers and partners worldwide.  These organizations benefit from secure, productive document sharing and information exchange in compliance with U.S. Department of Defense, UK Official Sensitive, and other regulations and standards.

“We are committed to meeting the secure collaboration needs of the global defense industry, where organizations from dozens of countries must work together to meet program objectives,” Zullo added.  “These organizations turn to Exostar because our solutions deliver superior functionality while cohesively addressing requirements such as managing International Traffic in Arms Regulations controls and handling Covered Defense Information in accordance with U.S. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.”
